The two days of the Touch for Resilience training are incredibly Touch rich

Learn how to use a Massage chair confidently and effectively. Plus you'll discover a more "informal" set up using "every day" equipment. All the strokes you learn are delivered through clothing, making your Touch even more accessible than ever. 

With no need for towels, oils or changing space, the treatment you learn can be easily and safely delivered in corporate environments, shopping centres, fayres...pretty much anywhere! And in your clinic, of course - ideal for clients who want a shorter treatment, don't want to risk getting oil in their hair but want shoulder and upper back work, or those struggling with their mobility.

All strokes and treatment protocols are completely zero strain, and likely to help you, as practitioner, feel better at the end of the treatment than the beginning!

The strokes you learn on the chair can also be transferred into your Massage table-based practice.

Clarity of communication is key

Alongside the Touch, you'll discover communication protocols to keep both you & your clients safe. Valuable for all treatments, and especially for those clients looking to soothe mental health concerns and the traumas they are carrying. The safer the environment you can create, the better - and communication is a big part of this.

In an environment that is safe on every level your clients can build their resilience, and turn triggering traumas into processed memories of what has gone before - leaving them to move forward with their life. 

Part of creating this safe environment is knowing what to do if someone does drop back into a trauma - how to support them safely and within your insured scope of practice. We cover this in detail.

An exciting new treatment protocol for clients who are "Stuck"

As well as being a great standalone treatment, the Touch for Resilience treatment can be offered as the Reset Protocol. Covered in detail during the course, The Reset Protocol is ideal for clients who find themselves stuck and unsure where to turn. Through a series of treatments you will offer the opportunity to build enough resilience to make that first step towards the life they want to be living. There's nothing complicated or difficult to learn here - apart from the discipline of trusting the Touch! We'll support you every step of the way.

A whole new audience

The Touch for Resilience treatment & Reset Protocol have the potential to reach a whole new audience for you and your business. The stresses and strains of everyday life only seem to be increasing. Having completed the course you'll have a way to help people build their resilience, manage these stresses and strains, soothe their unconscious AND it feels great too! 

Additionally there will be plenty of space during the course for questions including how to use your new knowledge and confidence to grow your practice.

What You Learn

• How to work on a Massage Chair plus how to choose the right chair
• How to deliver effective Touch with your clients fully clothed
• Touch protocols that are completely zero strain - including being totally easeful to deliver
• A treatment that is designed to soothe the nervous system - making space for the client to heal as much - or as little - as they choose
• Communication skills to keep you & your client safe - especially if strong emotions or even trauma bubble to the surface
• The Reset Protocol - a series of treatments, using the skills you learn on the course, to help your local community move from that place of "stuckness" to taking their first step towards improved health and wellbeing
• Guidance on making your practice environment - using any treatment - as emotionally & psychologically safe as possible. Because without safety, there can be no healing

You'll also receive a certificate on completion and a physical, full colour manual with clear photographs to remind you of everything you've learned. No exam required - certificates are awarded on continuous assessment by the tutor, who will speak to you individually if they have any concerns about your learning. Ideal continual professional development (CPD) - speak to your Association or professional body to confirm how you can register your completion of this training towards any CPD requirement you need to meet.

Pre-requisites

You must hold a professional full-body Massage qualification (UK level 3 equivalent or above) and have practitioner insurance in place to attend this course.
